Mother, grandmother, market gardener and one of five children raised on a family farm, Judy McPherson is steeped in rural traditions and would like to share this rich heritage with others. She and husband, Larry, have owned and operated Uwharrie Farm since 1987.
Over the years they have sold sweet and savory baked goods plus a variety of fruits and vegetables to restaurants, health food stores and at local farmer's markets.
Currently the McPhersons specialize in pasture raised beef and pasture raised pork.
